Corobrik’s Avoca branch manager, Des Kisten, said he and his team were delighted to be in a position to give assistance to Mrs. HarrisAppreciating and addressing customer needs and going the extra mile forms a central part of Corobrik’s philosophy.

This was recently made evident to Umdloti pensioner, Anne Harris, when inquiring about ordering 900 concrete pavers to pave the entrance of her family’s home.

“I called Corobrik to order pavers but had no way of getting to their offices to pay or to select what I needed,” explained Harris. “I am 83-years old, blind in one eye and I have had a couple of strokes so I cannot drive,” she explained.

Harris lives on a cottage situated on the same property as her family and she wanted to buy and lay the paving as a gift.

Kogi Naidoo, salesperson at Corobrik’s Avoca branch, spoke to her manager, Des Kisten, who organised to fetch Harris from her home. “Des fetched me and the person who would be helping me pick out and lay the paving,” said Harris.

‘’Corobrik’s staff went out of their way and were so patient with me, helping me with everything I needed. They even offered to come to my home and assess how many pavers we would need. They were just absolutely amazing to deal with.”

Corobrik’s Avoca branch manager, Des Kisten, said he and his team were delighted to be in a position to give assistance to Mrs Harris. “She selected the Multiblend Paver from our Corostone Range. This paver is cost effective and the multicolour paver blends in with the rich, earth tones of the Umdloti landscape.

Commenting on Corobrik’s customer service, Kisten said, “We do get unique requests from customers from time to time and satisfying our customers’ needs is paramount to the success of our business.”.
