Successful Academy traineesThe LG Electronics South Africa Academy (LGESA) is a dedicated, high tech, training and skills development facility, with centers in three major cities, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

The academies offer a programme, from March to December, for air conditioning professionals and contractors to obtain further training and information in installation principles and new product technology.

LG recognizes that training is one of the crucial elements in the success and sustainability of the organization and not just a compliance issue.

Commenting on the opening of the training course, LG Air Conditioning Academy’s Manager, Jacques Verwey said, “We are proud to be able to once again, receive trainees into our various academies, for what is set to be an exciting year-long training programme. The specially designed courses are created to suit the ever changing needs of our dealers – and it gives us great pleasure to enable the professionals in this field with the necessary skills to enhance productivity.”

The training courses will concentrate on specific products, the installation thereof, as well as the troubleshooting. The Multi V Troubleshooting and LGMV course are highly recommended for Service Technicians, Field Engineers and Project Managers who are in charge of troubleshooting.  The course intends to provide the knowledge, methods and procedures involved to identify the required skills as well as the operation for the use of the LGMV software.

The LG Air Conditioning Academy has achieved remarkable success over the years with more than 1200 trainees in Johannesburg and 400 in Durban and Cape Town having passed through the Academies, each year.
