About Stab-A-Load
Since 1990, Stab-A-Load has grown from a small service company into something much bigger. Today, we are Southern Africa’s top supplier of dock equipment and industrial door solutions. Doug Le Roux founded our company with a clear vision. Over the years, we have consistently evolved to meet growing demands. As a result, we now have over 30 years of industrial excellence.
Our journey of growth
1990 – Initially, we started as a small service company with a vision for excellence.
1991 – Within just one year, we developed our first lift table and dock leveller. This early innovation set the stage for future growth.
1995 – Subsequently, KELLEY approached us to form a partnership. KELLEY (now 4Front Engineered Solutions) is internationally known for air bag leveller solutions. We imported six levellers, and they were immediately successful. Consequently, this marked the beginning of a thriving partnership that continues today.
2003 – Meanwhile, Richard Wilcox of Canada chose us to distribute their bulk door systems in South Africa. As a result, we became their largest partner in Southern Africa. Furthermore, this partnership opened new opportunities for growth.
2011 – Finally, we opened our state-of-the-art facility in Alrode South. This move allowed us to integrate all operations under one roof. Additionally, we created a functional showroom with working equipment demonstrations.
