Our laboratory reagent shelving systems are available in a variety of configurations. They are ideally suited to provide above the worktop storage on island and peninsula benches providing additional storage for reagents and other equipment. Power and data sockets can be mounted on the face of a vertical or horizontal service box. Water and gas services can be run within the service box with pendant type outlets below. Incorporating the service outlets within the reagent shelving allows an uninterrupted worktop area. EC Laridon offers a number of standard and bespoke designs, including:
BENCH MOUNTED STEEL FRAME SYSTEM
The bench mounted steel H-frame system fixes permanently to the bench top and allows for services and storage above the work surface. The shelves are typically made of glass.
CEILING SUSPENDED SYSTEM
The suspended system is constructed of an epoxy powder coated frame which makes up the structural backbone of the system. The frames are fixed with specially designed mounting plates which allow for adjustment and ensure the system is level and plum. The system allows for water services, gas, data and power to be directly supplied from above thus freeing up the work surface. The system is typically clad in melamine with melamine shelving but with options to use alternate materials.
CONTINUOUS BOX REAGENT SHELF
The continuous box reagent shelf is essentially a continuation of the work surface at an elevated height. This allows for concealment of water services, gas, data and power supply whilst keeping the work area free of any bottles, boxes or supplies which can be stored on the elevated shelf. The continuous system is made of the same material as the work surface thus maintaining the aesthetics of the material.
