The Royal Marang Hotel, which was newly built as the ‘home’ for the England squad during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has now resumed normal duty along the popular tourist route in the Sun City region. More than 120 000 Technicrete Bold Double Roman profile concrete roof tiles in brown, with matching round ridges and hip-starters, were used to roof the hotel and adjacent sports complex. The sports complex caters for a range of activities, including soccer, rugby and tennis.

Landscape Architects, Outer Space Planning and Design, were briefed by the Ekurhuleni Metro Municipality (EMM) to develop a multipurpose park for community use and providing for mixed activities as well as sports.
