If you’re considering upgrading your space with a Solent fan and light kit, you can easily install it at a single light point in the ceiling. Follow this simple guide to complete the installation. 

Choose the fan style

Solent has three fan ranges that are light kit adaptable: 

1. High Breeze – Comes with a 80 watt motor with wood or aluminium blades, available in various colours and in 3 different blade sweeps 900, 1200, 1400mm. 

1. Senorita – Comes with an 80 watt motor with wood blades in 900, 1200 and 1400mm sweeps or aluminium blades in 1200mm sweep only. Available in various colours. 

1. High Breeze 100 – Comes with a 100 watt motor with wood blades in beautiful styles in 1200, 1400, 1500, 1800 and 2000mm sweeps. Available in various colours. 

Select a light kit

Solent offers three optional and easy-to-install light kits. Each kit comes with a metal base that matches the motor colour, ensuring a seamless look. 

Cleo

1. Cleo & Oyster – Takes 2 x 15 watt E27 LED lamps.

2. LED – features three interchangeable colour options.  

• Warm White 

• Neutral White 

• Cool White

You can change between these colour options by switching the light switch at the wall or the light button on the remote, off and on. 

If you decide not to install a light kit, be sure to remove the Brown and Blue wires provided with the motor for the light connection. 

Choose a wall regulator or remote control

You have the option to control the fan with either a wall regulator or a remote control. If you opt for a wall regulator, you will need to pull through an additional wire or to avoid this, you can use the L5 remote control.
