Treated timber for new KZN game lodge

Bivane Game Lodge in northern KwaZulu-Natal presents a prime example of the use of treated timber in construction in the natural environment.  The lodge was acquired in 1999 by entrepreneur Des Robins and, with the changes and upgrading he has implemented, it has carved itself a special niche among visitors from local and international markets.  The lodge comprises two family units – thatched chalets that sleep four each, plus three chalets that sleep two each and a split-level chalet that offers extra luxury. There is also a full restaurant that caters for functions and meals, and a bar.
