SAICE accredits unique AfriSam course

A course on good concrete practices and cement manufacturing devised by AfriSam has been qualified by the South African Institute of Civil Engineers (SAICE) to be presented as part of its CPD (Continuous Personal Development) initiative. The new course was reviewed by an external academic and accredited with 0.4 CPD points.

SAICE National Projects Awards for excellence in civil engineering

The prestigious SAICE Awards gala event for the Most Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievements for 2012/2013 was held at Emperors Palace in Gauteng on 17 October. This year SAICE received 35 project entries from across the country – a new record in SAICE history. Winners were announced in three categories - SAICE National Projects, SAICE Technical Divisions Projects and SAICE Institutional Awards.
