A poorly insulated roof and ceiling contributes up to 40% of the overall heat loss in winter. A cost effective way to greatly reduce this heat loss is to install a thermally efficient Romatherm insulation blanket into your ceiling or roof. Romatherm is manufactured from recycled PET bottles and supplied in various thicknesses to suit your home’s specific needs. Romatherm is easy to install, does not itch and is an ideal investment to secure a healthier living environment while greatly reducing monthly energy consumption and costs.
Isoboard cavity wall insulation will prevent heat transfer and build-up to the inner leaf of sun exposed walls. Moisture within the cavity is prevented from condensing onto and penetrating through the inner leaf when IsoBoard is installed. The insulation restricts heating ingress to temperature controlled and passive cooled environments.
Homes, like most buildings in SA, suffer substantial heat (or cold) losses due to insufficient (or no) thermal insulation. Romatherm is manufactured from recycled PET bottles and is cost-effective, safe to use, non-itch insulation that result in significant improvements in both living conditions and electricity consumption. Whether Romatherm is installed between the joists in the ceiling void of a flat roof, or within the ceiling void of a pitched roof, the thermal benefits and costs savings are substantial.
The new generation of DONN grids are fully compatible and interchangeable with previous versions. They now have light reflective steel capping, and are coloured snow white. Their galvanised steel construction ensures rust resistance. The DONN T38 FR grid system is easily assembled. Features such as the patented Quick-Release Clip (QRC) ensure quick installation. The grids can also be disassembled and the Cross Tees reused. Where necessary, the grids can be bolstered with insulation for improved thermal and acoustic performance.
Clear-Clad is a new generation of multi-wall polycarbonate panel systems with strong co-extruded solar manipulation qualities, that transmit sunlight through the panel into the building while reducing and, in some instances, depending on the application, blocking the sun‘s heat altogether from entering the building. Where the choice of panel for the installation is to reduce the sun‘s heat from entering, but not block it altogether, Clear-Clad panels also provide strong thermal insulation qualities to retain solar heat in the building on cold winter days.
