Recently completed, the new “Comic Warehouse” in Bedfordview now boasts Traviloc IsoCore flooring from Traviata. Comprising seven individual offices, a boardroom and large open plan area, the 300m² office area was completed in under two days! According to Inovar Sandton, who did the installation, the new “droplock 100” locking system delivered its promise, with an estimated 30% time saving over traditional interlocking LVT.
The new locking system employs a simple “slide – drop – lock” mechanism which avoids the need to engage both long and short end joints at one time. The ease and speed of installation has obvious benefits for both tenants and installers. The feedback on this locking mechanism has been so good internationally that the manufacturers of Traviloc LVT have now incorporated it into the Traviloc 4.0 and 5.0 ranges as well.
Available in eight all new high definition colours, the IsoCore flooring offers additional benefits for larger commercial spaces. The extra-long and wide planks and natural textures are visually appealing in big areas. More importantly, the factory applied, sound mitigating underlayment helps to create a quieter environment which is more conducive to work output. A further improvement is the fact that IsoCore is treated on both top and bottom surfaces with “Ultra Fresh”. This is an anti-microbial, anti-bacterial finish which inhibits the growth of mould and mildew, both of which can have adverse health effects.
Like all Traviloc ranges, IsoCore is manufactured from 100% virgin Vinyl, is “Floor Score” certified for indoor air quality and meets the VOC emissions requirements for use in home, classroom, office and commercial environments.
