Simplifying electrical installations

Radiant-6-Amp-Click-DuoThe revolutionary new 6Amp Click Duo luminaire socket from Radiant Lighting and Electrical (Radiant)  will transform the way in which electricians install commercial lighting. The user-friendly device replaces the traditional cumbersome method of using two separate sockets, wall boxes and cable glands when wiring applications such as fluorescent lights. Instead, the new 6Amp Click Duo combines all the components required in an integrated double socket with a base plate. This can simply be secured to the ceiling, using any one of five different mounting options – using a nail gun is the fastest.

“It’s another Radiant innovation to save time and money on a project,” says Graham Chick, executive director of Electrical Product Development at Radiant. “Aside from the benefits of the product, which include the ease of use, reduced installation time and simple convenience, the new 6Amp Click Duo is more affordable than the traditional method of wiring lighting.”

Instead of having to do the wiring connections overhead in the ceiling, the installer can now complete the task without having to work upside down. As well as allowing for a faster wiring installation this promotes safer working practice.

Cable ties used for strain relief are also provided with the 6Amp Click Duo and a live wire looping terminal is included so that other appliances can be wired into the sockets.

The 6Amp Click Duo is SABS approved. It is available from leading lighting and electrical wholesalers country-wide.
