ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon Carpet

ECONYL® carpet for the office

Our appetite to create new products and buy new products is infinite. The planet’s resources aren’t. But it’s okay because we can have both: new products and a better environment.

Econyl is a registered brand of Aquafil and is one of the biggest yarn manufacturers in the world. Aquafil also supply yarns to Van Dyck and Modulyss.

Nylon waste from landfills and oceans around the world is transformed into ECONYL® regenerated nylon. It’s exactly the same as brand new nylon and can be recycled, recreated and remoulded again and again that means you can create new products and buy new products without having to use new resources.

made from 100% ECONYL®The process is as follows,

The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic from landfills and oceans all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.

Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon.

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into carpet yarn and textile yarn for the fashion and interior industries.

Fashion brands and carpet producers use ECONYL® regenerated nylon to create brand new products. And that nylon has the potential to be recycled infinitely, without ever losing its quality. The goal is that once all products containing ECONYL ® are no longer useful to customers

As well as being a solution to waste, ECONYL® regenerated nylon is also better when it comes to climate change. It reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 80% compared with the material from oil.

Imagination is infinite.
