The Terminus is an old Hotel that has been revamped to a 3 Star Hotel and feels like you’re visiting a 5 Star Hotel in Mozambique. The new Hotel officially opened on the 4th May 2016, with the President of Mozambique doing the official opening. We are proud to have been part of the revamp with the new walk-off entrance mats. The Terminus Hotel chose Spectra Clean entrance mats in red to match the hotel branding and colours. The entrance mats have a textured top surface which will provide a great scrubbing action, whilst absorbing moisture to prevent dirty footprints on the hotel floors.
Replaced the old mats at the Wimpy Entrance that Matco did around 6 years ago. All has been completed, and it looks like we will be replacing matting at all of the other entrances as well over the next couple of months.
Accra Mall experiences a very high load of foot traffic spread out between 3 entrances with the majority going through entrances 1 & 2. PRASA has committed R650-million over the next three years to upgrading Park Station’s infrastructure and expanding its second rail offering. With an estimated foot traffic of 200,000 people per day, the most suitable entrance matting for such a high-traffic application was naturally Matco’s Trio Scraper. Not only does Trio Scraper create a welcoming entrance, but the unique design ensures that dirt remains trapped within the mat and prevents it from being walked into the building. Apart from Park station, a total of 134 stations countrywide have been identified for refurbishment and, where required, will be using Trio Scraper as their product of choice.
Bram Fischer International Airport in Bloemfontein offers a world-class airport operation catering for more than 400 000 passengers per annum. The airport’s recent upgrade included Matco being tasked with supplying and installing top quality mats at the main terminal building. With a respected history and a reputation for impeccably executed jobs, Matco was tasked with supplying both interior and exterior mats that not only remove the maximum amount of dirt but also contribute to the modern ambience demanded by a building situated at the heart of the region’s economy. Matco’s ‘DM Aluminium Mats’ with woven brush inserts were selected for the exterior of the building and Matco’s patented bestselling ‘Trio Scraper’ was installed in the interior of the building for the safety of both passengers and staff.
