ABOUT MACBROTHERS:

Based in Cape Town, the high-tech factory of MacBrothers was established in 2002 and a subsidiary of Grand Parade Investments Limited (GPI), an established empowerment company listed on the main board of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The company has a level 4 BBBEE rating. MacBrothers have branches: Johannesburg, Durban, Harare and Cape Town.

DESIGN:

MacBrothers has a fully qualified team of designers to liaise with clients, from conceptualisation stage through to final building plans, focusing on creating an efficient, sustainable and productive working environment, that meets world class standards. They also offer 3D animated renderings for presentation purposes, which enables clients to digitally view the proposed result – even before the first brick is laid.

SA-based manufacturing and distribution company Mac Brothers is a leading producer of high quality catering equipment, through its state of the art production plant, recently having invested R30m in additional machinery, to now boast the latest Salvagnini P4 panel bender, duel Fibre Laser Cutters and several other sheet-metal manufacturing & general assembly machines.

This high-end facility allows the company to employ the latest stainless-steel fabrication techniques from across the world, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards for local and export markets, with distribution through its national footprint.

Mac Brothers specialises in design for manufacturing and assembly using the latest 3D product design technologies such as Solid Works, SigmaNest and Revit.

Design concepts need consistency.  As well as our previous design series in black, white and stainless steel we now offer the architect the possibility of using our dispensing systems in bronze, copper and brass and matching them consistently with the fittings and door furniture available on the market.  Our new colour selections meet current demand for a sophisticated restroom culture.

PROOX demanded a sleek and timeless design which subordinates itself to the architecture and emphasizes the high quality of the public restroom. To this end, closure mechanisms and screwed joints were not to be visible and surface finishes kept as neutral as possible.
