Multilayer Piping System for Water Supply Combines the advantages typical of metal pipes with those of plastic pipes. Total barrier to oxygen thanks to the intermediate layer in aluminium. One pipe alone for numerous applications: systems for water supply, high and low-temperature heating and cooling and the distribution of compressed air. Certification for transportation drinking water. Maximum hygiene
Multilayer pipes can be used for the supply of high and low temperature water to radiators, the supply of hot and refrigerated water to fans, distribution of hot and cold water, radiant floor, wall and ceiling heating and cooling systems, central heating stations, distribution of compressed air, laboratories, technical and industrial plants…
BuddyBats are pipe anchors. Their function is to reduce water hammer caused by vibrations in pipes. Buddy Bats are available in 5 different colours: Black, Brown, White, Red & Blue. They can assist with pipe identification – Red for hot water pipes and Blue for cold water pipes. White BuddyBats can be painted if used on external walls. Brown is traditionally used for copper or brown polycop pipes. Brown & Black are the most UV stabilised of all the colours and can be used for external pipe-work, although it is recommended that Nylon BuddyBats are rather used for this application.

Plastic pipes made from Polypropylene Random Copolymer (PP-R) were introduced more than 30 years ago. Since then, they have been used mainly for hot and cold water pipe systems and have significantly contributed to the growth and acceptance of plastic pipes for plumbing and heating systems. While system components have been gradually improved over time, no resin improvement of particular significance has happened in the last 20 years.
Geberit Mepla is a corrosion-resistant supply system for all drinking water qualities and universal applications.
Pressing collars with dimension d63 and up are used for pressing Geberit Mepla pipes. Geberit has redesigned these pressing collars and improved their handling. The new collars are held firmly in place on the pressfitting thanks to a snap mechanism. The same adapter jaw as the one used with Geberit Mapress can be used…
Geberit HDPE Sovent fittings take care of pressure compensation in discharge stacks. In doing so, they increase the capacity of the stacks and eliminate the need to install a parallel ventilating pipe, which leads to substantial cost savings in terms of both materials and labour.
Geberit’s piping catalogue: waste and drainage systems (HDPE pipes, Pluvia roof drainage system, Silent db20, floor drains, traps), water supply systems (Mepla and Mapress) and Geberit tools.
Geberit Mepla is a corrosion-resistant supply system for all drinking water qualities and universal applications. Mepla system pipes can be used for sanitary applications as well as for heating, cooling and compressed air. The pressed joint and the multilayer pipe meet all requirements of modern domestic drinking water installations. Geberit Mepla combines the stability advantages of metal with the corrosion resistance of plastic.
Geberit Mapress is one of the leading pressfitting systems worldwide and has proven its performance over the past 40 years. It offers a complete supply piping system with pressfittings, pipes, valves, tools and accessories completing the range. With systems manufactured from Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Copper and CuNiFe, Geberit Mapress can be used for an extensive range of applications, from domestic drinking water and heating systems to industrial and marine uses.
This issue of Geberit’s Customer Know-How magazine addresses: Shower toilets in pre-school bathrooms, improvements to the CleanLine shower channel, the expansion of Geberit’s logistics centre in Pfullendorf, putting the AquaClean shower toilet to the test, and Geberit’s new venture into ceramic products. The PS Bag is a reinforced, geosynthetic bag, consisting of a mechanically bonded woven/nonwoven composite fabric, with a dimensioned geotextile drainage base. These bags are filled with wet tailings material, sand or soil, and are mainly used as support plinths below concrete, HDPE or steel pipes.
Customised shaped products made from cross-linked or non cross-linked foams of various densities for cushion, shock absorption, protective packaging, as well as various flotation applications. Applications: space fillers to ensure products are snugly packed preventing damage during transportation and storage, load spreaders…
Ideal for securing pipe work in lofts and around geysers. Helps dampen noise caused by vibration and water hammer. All BuddyBats are supplied with 6mm masonry anchors although they can also be secured with any nail or screw.
Installation and use of multilayer pipes and fittings. It is an innovative system for the creation of internal hot and cold water distribution networks, for heating circuits, air-conditioning and compressed air systems. The multilayer pipe unites the characteristics of plastic and those of ductile metal.
