Starlite Insulation - Eco Friendly Energy Efficient Roof & Ceiling Insulation

Starlite Insulation consists of flexible rolls of insulation manufactured from high-quality non-combustible glass mineral fibre using an inert thermosetting binder to form a product which is light-weight, strong, resilient, safe and highly thermally efficient. Starlite® is supplied as a plain blanket for ceiling applications, or faced with a variety of scrim re-inforced facings being aluminium foil or white coated aluminium foil for industrial and steel roof applications. Starlite® is used for thermal and acoustic applications in roofs, walls and ceilings of all types of buildings and has a working temperature of up to 230°C. Thermocoustex: Used in Churches

Thermocoustex - In Schools

Datlink Insulation and Acoustics is proud that our products, ThermocousTex Fibre and Romatherm Insulation, were specified and supplied to two new schools in the Western Cape in March’15. ThermocousTex Fibre was installed over purlin on straining wires and sandwiched up against the steel roof sheet. This contact with the roof sheet prevents drumming of the roof sheet which creates an environment within the school that is not prone to losing teaching days from excessive rain, wind or traffic noise. Thermocoustex - Retro Fit In an Auditorium

To reduce the unpleasantly loud and irritating noise reverberation within the most multi purpose school auditoriums, a simple retro fit solution using cost effective ThermoCoustex boards will resolve the problem. In this example, ThermocousTex boards were vertically suspended off steel wires spanning across the underside of the roof, and then clipped onto the wire at equal spacings resulting in vertical fins. Ecosound: A Decorative Tissue Faced Superior Acoustic Ceiling Tile System

Ecosound acoustic ceiling tiles are manufactured from non-combustible inorganic Glasswool, bonded with an inert thermosetting resin binder and are lightweight and resilient. A glass tissue facing is available in two decorative finishes namely Serenity (Silver) and Harmony (White). Applications include commercial suspended ceilings and specialised acoustic applications.
