One of the widest and most popular ranges of aluminium doors and windows available on the South African market has now been assembled under a single new consumer brand – Como.
Como products are supplied by Duro Pressing's, long-standing manufacturer and distributor of aluminium and steel windows, doors and allied building products.
The Como brand name will be used primarily in the retail and wholesale distribution market for the visually appealing and highly functional, standard aluminium windows and doors of Duro group subsidiary Richards and Barlow (R&B). Stephan Marckx, commercial manager of R&B, says, “The Como brand brings together high quality, long-life products as a value-for-money offering that not only meets customer expectations but is also supported by a strong national service team.”
Established 54 years ago, Duro Pressings is a family-founded and controlled enterprise, in which a strategic minority stake is held jointly by Metropolitan (through its African Wealth Creator fund) and the Molash group.
