The Italtile Pretoria showroom has been extended to 2 100 m², more than double its former size, in order to showcase complete bathroom solutions with an extensive display of tiles and sanitaryware products.
Sergio Galli, a director of Italtile Retail says, “The extended Pretoria showroom redefines showrooms and display in South Africa. With complete bathroom solutions under one roof, it enhances the shopping experience, opening up a whole new dimension of choice.”
In collaboration with its European partners, which include brand names such as Laufen, Kos and Zucchetti, GSG www.ceramica-gsg-bathroom-suites.com, Valli & Valli, Roberto Palomba and Hansgrohe, and working with local architectural firm WMS Architects and shopfitters Grainwave, Italtile has refurbished and extended the Pretoria showroom to display the latest international trends in sanitaryware, baths, tiles, taps and bathroom accessories.
From basins and bath tubs to furniture units, shower cabins, mirrors and other accessories, each range is tastefully styled for display.
Amraj Dursan, Italtile’s in-house architect, comments: “The showroom is spacious, to allow an easy flow for visitors. Wide walkways enable clients to view the products from every angle, and they can touch, feel and examine the products further. Or, over a cup of Italian coffee at our coffee bar, they can sit back and be inspired by the ambiance and surroundings.”
Water is an integral part of the showroom which incorporates seven working water features, four of which are activated by sensors, two which run constantly and one which offers clients the opportunity to test a variety of shower roses and hand showers. The working features form the backdrop to a selection of 18 ranges of brassware from Italian suppliers Zucchetti and Tivoli Taps, as well as Hansgrohe.
Galli adds, “As the longest standing retailer in this market, we are well placed to meet our customers’ needs. With this investment, we reassure our customers of our commitment to remaining at the forefront of product styling, fashions and trends in bathrooms and bathroom ware.”
