Green roofs are a great idea and becoming more and more popular. They help keep buildings cooler, they can support edible growth, and they provide a welcome break in harsh city landscaping.
But they’re sprouting up in some of the most bizarre and unexpected places, like houseboats, bus shelters, dog houses and subway entrances. They're being used to feed the goats, to enable houses to blend into the landscape and to provide more playing space.
