Automating the opening and closing of windows can simplify everyday ventilation. Window drive systems supplied by Geze can do this. There are models to suit wide-ranging window types and sizes, including skylight windows and light domes. Ventilator switches make the drives – and the control of ventilation – convenient and easy to operate. Remote-controlled operation is also an option, for even easier operating comfort, especially for people with reduced mobility. And weather stations can be incorporated to ensure the automatic closing of windows in the case of wind or rain.
Electrical spindle drives offer another compact option for bottom- and top-hung and pivot casement windows as well as skylight windows and light domes. They can also be used for large and heavy roof windows. The drives can be used as "direct openers" or installed to lie in profile, as well as in an opening and locking system.
Electrical linear drives are ideal for use with slim-line fanlight openers. The slim-line design allows for the window frontage to be easily adapted, even in cases where space is limited. These drives can be installed to the left or right of the window, vertically or horizontally.
Geze scissor drives represent a design solution for optimum ventilation and can be used even with broad skylight windows that have been vertically installed and open inwards. The scissors and electrical motor are integrated within a compact casing so they are protected against dust and dirt.
