Floors Direct, a leading supplier of wooden flooring and decking, has extended its range of flooring options to include carpeting. The company now supplies locally manufactured Belgotex, Nouwens, Crossley and Van Dyck carpets as well as international brands such as Desso, Milliken Floors and Balsan carpets, through its Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal showrooms.
Floors Direct also carries out installations and the company can order specific designs and colour choices from local manufacturers.

A new development that has reportedly become fashionable is the artificial grass used for sports, leisure and garden applications. Floors Direct offers the Dura Turf range manufactured by Belgotex and Tiger Turf manufactured by Van Dyck. These products can be used indoors and out and carry a seven-year guarantee on the UV-protection technology used in their manufacture. The turf is easy to install, clean, hygienic and evergreen – without requiring any maintenance.Other ongoing developments in technology mean that carpets can be custom-designed for any application, with almost endless options in designs and colours. Floors Direct works closely with the custom design divisions of the manufacturers and can thus accommodate unique requests.
Floors Direct supplies and fits residential and commercial carpets, commercial carpet tiles and rubber tiles, as well as laminate, engineered wood and bamboo flooring, and decking. It also offers cleaning products for the different flooring materials.
