Over the festive season decorative animals made from Xanita’s eco-friendly X-Board were on display in all Cape Union Mart stores around the country.
The X-Board was printed and then cut to form free-standing animal shapes. The lightweight animals were flat-packed for distribution and assembled in-store for the festive season visual display.
Xanita’s X-Board is a fully printable, eco-friendly alternative to the traditional vinyl and PVC used in signage and point of sale displays. It contains no harmful chemicals, polyethylene or waxes and can be re-pulped after use.
The board is created from recycled materials and is available in various sizes and thicknesses. The light weight of the material also means that transport and labour costs are reduced, as is the time required for erecting displays or other installations.
It was these qualities that motivated Cape Union Mart to choose X-Board for its in-store displays. Group marketing manager, Evan Torrance, said, “Cape Union Mart is committed to reducing its impact on the environment and this led us to develop an environmentally themed festive season campaign for our store windows.”
