JoJo Tanks recently launched a range of 6 000-litre underground tanks, adding to its existing range of storage tanks and particularly to complement its above-ground Slimline™ range which has a smaller holding capacity.
Underground tanks are the answer when space and accessibility are an issue – especially in the urban environment. They have become an increasingly popular option with architects and property developers as an underground water storage system allows for maximum use of the site – giving way to more green space or parking surfaces. Professionally installed, the tanks can be placed under paved areas used by lightweight traffic, under driveways, garden beds or lawns.
The new 6 000-litre underground tanks are available in three colours: grey – for grey water recycling; black – for black water use; and green – for fresh water and rainwater harvesting.
Like all other JoJo tanks, the underground tanks are manufactured using a rotational moulding process to produce a one-piece, seamless, watertight tank. The rugged ribbed design offers superior strength for underground installation and the rib placement provides structural integrity.
The installation of JoJo underground tanks should be done in line with the specific installation procedure set out by the manufacturer.
