Concrete roof tiles for 5-star establishment
The Royal Marang Hotel, which was newly built as the ‘home’ for the England squad during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has now resumed normal duty along the popular tourist route in the Sun City region.
More than 120 000
Technicrete Bold Double Roman profile concrete roof tiles in brown, with matching round ridges and hip-starters, were used to roof the hotel and adjacent sports complex. The sports complex caters for a range of activities, including soccer, rugby and tennis. The Royal Marang development was also an opportunity for Rustenburg-based manufacturer, Bafokeng Concor Technicrete, to display some of its concrete paving products.Parking areas at the main entrance to the sports campus were surfaced with grey, 60mm Double Zig-Zag interlocking pavers, which can withstand heavy traffic. For the hotel parking area, 50mm Cobble Bond paving was selected in contrasting autumn tints. The entire paving area is framed with Technicrete concrete kerbing.
