By specifying Trellidor Rollerstyle aluminium roller shutters as veranda ‘doors’ living areas can easily be expanded to accommodate crowds of guests or closed off when life returns to normal. Even if exposed to sea air, Rollerstyle shutters are relatively maintenance-free, lightweight, quieter than steel roller shutters and are easy to operate, particularly if automated.
Ideally, the shutters should be fitted to the outside edge of the veranda, especially if there are folding or sliding doors from the living room onto the entertainment area. The space between the two sets of doors becomes the area that’s opened up for extra guests and family to enjoy.
