Protecting wall surfaces

Sanparrel is a PVC-U protective sheet used as sheeting, rubrails and kickplates.

Sanparrel provides a durable and protective layer in a vast selection of colours to complement any interior environment, ranging from Education, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical to Retail, Commercial Office, Hospitality and Leisure.

Sanparrel can be used in sheet form for total wall protection, or can be cut and formed to create a range of design solutions. Sanparrel can be cut into Rubrails and Kickplates or into bespoke designs and corporate logos. Through forming Sanparrel, a range of profiles can be produced including bespoke corner guards, column guards or door edge and door frame protectors.

Sanparrel requires minimum maintenance and reduces the need to re-paint and repair wall surfaces, therefore minimising disruption and improving the life cycle of the interior. Functional and easy to clean, Sanparrel provides a protective layer to existing wall surfaces which resists everyday scratches and scrapes, ensuring appearance retention is optimised. Sanparrel ensures durability in areas exposed to damage from pedestrian and wheeled traffic. Through coloured and textured PVC-u conceals the effects of impact and abrasion.

Sanparrel PVC-u sheet has been tested in accordance with EN ISO 11925-2:2002 and EN 13823:2002 and classified according to EN 13501-1:2002 as - Reaction to Fire classification: B - s3, d0.

Sanparrel™ can be used in sheet form for total protection on walls, generally installed to dado rail height. It is also suitable for a wide range of applications including doors, counters and many other surfaces. A range of trims is available to provide a neat finish and to allow for minor expansion and contraction. The range includes top caps, divider bars and inside corners. As an alternative Vinylseal, a colour matched decorative filler, can also be used.

Sanparrel is available in a standard sheet size of 1.22m x 2.44m and 1.5mm thickness.

Sanparrel™ kickplates & pushplates
Sanparrel™ kickplates and pushplates provide protection to doors from damage such as scrapes and dents caused by wheeled and general traffic. Cut from Sanparrel sheet, these products are 1.5mm thick, produced to individual size requirements and bevelled on the edges to provide a smooth and safe finish. Sanparrel door protection products can be cut into shapes such as curves and bespoke
designs, offering an alternative to traditional kickplates and pushplates.

The vast colour choice can assist in achieving colour contrast for critical features and allows door opening furniture such as kickplates and pushplates to be sufficiently contrasted in colour to the door, Kickplates can be supplied with or without factory applied adhesive.

Sanparrel™ rubrails
Sanparrel™ rubrails are cut from sheet material and bevelled on the top and bottom edges for a smooth and neat finish. This product can be used to provide a cost effective solution to protect entire wall lengths or surfaces exposed to impact or abrasion.

Rubrails can also be produced to bespoke designs through the versatility of cutting, using a selection of colours to create a chosen design. Supplied in 1.5mm thickness and 2.44m lengths, rubrails are available in standard heights of 100mm to 1200mm in 50mm increments.

Forming
Sanparrel is a versatile product that can be formed into a variety of profiles. The most frequently used profiles are ‘U’ and ‘L’ shapes. ‘U’ profiles can be used for column protection or protection to exposed wall edges, whilst ‘L’ profiles can be used asbespoke corner guards, door edge and door frame protectors. The installation of the profiles improves aesthetics, minimises the effects of damage and reduces ongoing repair and maintenance costs.
