Designed in South Africa for optimal performance in local conditions, Cobra Heat Pumps use three times less electricity to produce the same amount of heat generated by a conventional electrical geyser. This translates into a saving of up to 62% on geyser electricity bills.
Cobra Heat Pumps are easy to install and can be mounted out of sight of entertainment areas. From here, heat is extracted from sun-warmed air and transferred to the geyser where it efficiently heats the water for use in the home. As the units don't rely on direct sunlight to generate heat, there's no need for roof-top mounting or the connection of solar panels, resulting in a neat, compact installation.
Cobra Heat Pumps are equipped with user-friendly LCD remote displays that can be installed inside the home to provide quick and easy access to water temperature, running times and system diagnostics.
Unlike other heat pumps that have a maximum temperature setting of 55°;, Cobra Heat Pumps provide the option to increase the water temperature to a maximum of 65° when needed.
Another innovative feature of the pumps is their sterilising function that automatically sanitises geysers once a week to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria and viruses

A unique "cross-over" switch ensures the client has hot water at all times should anything go wrong with the heat pump.
Cobra Heat Pumps are backed by local expertise and a warranty, and professionally fitted by qualified installers who also offer full after-sales technical support. These installers can also advise on the correct size heat pump to be fitted, as this depends on the size of the geyser, water draw off, as well as the number of geysers that will be connected to the pump.
