Few stands left for Africa's largest building services and construction exhibition

The Star Interbuild Africa and co-located shows Glass Expo Africa, Woodpro Africa, Plumbdrain Africa and Frigair Workshop and Expo together with two exciting new shows, EcoAfribuild and Current Africa, are only a couple of months away and promise to deliver a buzz of activity with halls packed with product displays, live product demonstrations and an array of information and materials.

There are a few stands left and companies not yet signed up as exhibitors should not miss out on this excellent marketing opportunity.

“The Star Interbuild Africa exhibition and co-located shows are poised to support industry growth beyond 2012 by creating an enabling environment for business networking, capital equipment purchases and business development,” says Gary Corin, Managing Director of Specialised Exhibitions, organisers of The Star Interbuild Africa.

Corin is confident that the timing of the show in August will support exhibitors’ marketing efforts to increase business opportunities and sales over the next year or two.

“This biennial event provides the perfect opportunity for visitors to compare products and services, view the latest technology and industry trends, plan future product purchases or buy off-the-floor; our exhibitors, leading industry players, recognise this significant benefit.”

Hosting the full spectrum of building, building services and related industries in residential, commercial and industrial development, this highly respected trade exhibition will be host to more than 400 exhibitors, all under one roof.

Value-added features at this year’s show include daily live demonstrations putting products and equipment into action; an interactive Plumbing for Architects workshop which emphasises the critical role architects fulfil in this arena; the South African Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (SAIRAC) regulations workshop covering all aspects of the new regulatory environment and regulatory platforms; and a symposium on alternative building technologies.

The all new EcoAfribuild will focus on the important transformation towards an eco-friendly built environment whilst Current Africa will showcase all aspects of electrical installations for residential, commercial, public, industrial and prefabricated buildings.

“On going industry education and awareness is a strong theme this year with a focus on the regulatory environment, building standards, latest innovations and energy saving and alternative building technologies,” says Corin.

The Star Interbuild Africa, EcoAfribuild, Glass Expo Africa, WoodPro Africa, Plumbdrain Africa and Current Africa will be held at the Expo Centre, NASREC, Johannesburg, from 15-18 August 2012. Frigair Workshop and Expo is also co-located at this event and runs from 15-17 August 2012.
