Gyproc expands their plaster portfolio with the launch of two new products

Saint-Gobain Gyproc has announced the launch of two new plaster product formulations. Gyproc RhinoLite Skim Plaster for RhinoBoard and Gyproc RhinoLite Projection Plaster One Coat.

Gyproc RhinoLite Skim Plaster for RhinoBoard

A gypsum plaster based product specifically designed for a complete finish onto plasterboard.

The addition of Gyproc RhinoLite Skim Plaster to the Gyproc plaster range has been formulated for ease of application using a similar method to the hand skim of other RhinoLite products and features a host of additional benefits.

When applying Gyproc RhinoLite Skim Plaster, the pre-treatment of joints and screws is not required. The total coverage of plasterboard provides a holistically durable smooth surface, which is highly resistant to impact and scratches. In addition, skimmed surfaces don’t require any sanding and can be painted directly after the product has set and dried.

Gyproc RhinoLite Projection Plaster One Coat

This product is designed as a leveling and finishing plaster for brick and block backgrounds with a single application using a mechanical projection plaster machine for best results, providing a level and smooth surface that is durable and impervious to impacts and scratches. The surface may be painted directly after the plaster has dried. Gyproc recommends that the product only be applied by accredited or certified projection plaster applicators.

Both products are indicated for interior use only, available in 25kg bags, with a shelf life of up to nine months if kept sheltered from sun and rain. The plasters should not be applied when temperatures go below freezing and the use of epoxy paints is not recommended.
