Frontrunner Plus entrance matting, manufactured by Plastic Extruders Ltd, is welcoming visitors in style to the Louis Vuitton store in Singapore.

Located in East Pavilion, Marina Bay Sands, the flagship store is part of the Mall and can also be reached via a footbridge over water. Prior to the grand opening, the owners realised that the stainless steel strip which formed part of the entrance could become very slippery when wet and also trap dust. With only 24 hours to go, they approached Plastex distributor Getz Bros in Singapore for a solution.

Getz Bros. recommended Frontrunner Plus, part of the Frontrunner Entrance Flooring System. The company was able to supply from stock and install the matting overnight prior to opening, which delighted the store owners. The clean cut lines and elegant appearance of Frontrunner complemented the finish of the entrance area, while providing a safe, slip resistant and efficient cleaning surface.

Suitable for areas subject to the heaviest use, Frontrunner Plus is manufactured with integral absorbent inserts within a heel-proof vinyl grid and is available in 75 different colour combinations. This unique matting scrapes, cleans and dries shoes while any dirt remaining falls through the grid and is not transferred inside, reducing cleaning and maintenance costs and helping to keep the interiors attractive.

Frontrunner Entrance Flooring System comprises several mats suitable for different interior and exterior installations. All products in the range can be trimmed easily on site to fit any shape, such as within revolving doors or irregular shaped matwells. External options include Frontrunner XT with an aggressive diamond cut for increased slip resistance and Frontrunner Brush with nylon brush inserts to combat severe soiling.
