Isofoam South Africa (Pty) Ltd, was established in 1995 by the Kharafi Group of companies, with the aim of introducing IsoBoard Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) Thermal Insulation board to the South African Market. XPS offers the highest commercially available heat flow resistance of all insulation boards. IsoBoard rigid high density thermal insulation boards offer a range of applications from over-purlin to under floor slab to exposed ceilings. Simple to install, IsoBoard is water resistant, flame retardant, washable and paintable, and has the highest resistance to heat transfer. IsoBoard - for comfort and energy efficiency.

Agrement Certificate 2010/382 IsoBoard over rafter and truss insulation is extruded polystyrene rigid foam board that is installed between rafters or roof trusses and tile battens or sheeting purlins to form insulating ceilings.	Product Information IsoBoard thermal insulation is a high density, extruded polystyrene rigid insulation board, having a 100% closed cell structure.
Inverted Roof Insulation The inverted roof concept, also known as protected membrane or upside down roofing, ensures insulating both the waterproofing membrane and the reinforced concrete slab from extreme thermal stress. This is achieved by placing IsoBoard extruded polystyrene insulation board above, instead of below the waterproofing membrane.
