Vivian
Regina is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company that offers a superior
range of glass fibre tissues and mesh products that will ensure a
durable coating system that provides years of protection from the forces
of nature.
CRAKGON®
Paint
reinforcing tissue
CRAKGON®
is a non-woven paint reinforcing tissue of randomly dispersed continuous
C-glass fibres. The glass fibres are bonded to one another by means of a
binder. The binder is compatible with emulsion, and solvent based
coating systems.
Application
CRAKGON® is a reinforcement for interior and exterior paint
films and other coating compounds, and a preventative to the
re-appearance of fine plastic cracks, or a consolidation medium for
friable plaster surfaces. CRAKGON® reinforced surfaces will
outlast non-reinforced surfaces by many years, according to independent
tests conducted by the National Building Research Institute of the
Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (Pretoria, RSA), and by
the Quality Control Labs at Lacose Sotinco / CIN (Porto, Portugal).
GLASCOTE
Re-inforcing
membrane
GLASCOTE
is a reinforcing membrane comprising a non-woven tissue
of randomly dispersed continuous C-glass fibres combined
with a mesh of glass yarn bonded together with a suitable binder.
Application
GLASCOTE has been specifically designed and developed for all weather
conditions and is commonly used as a reinforcing membrane in
waterproofing applications. The glass mesh in GLASCOTE provides
exceptional dimensional stability to the membrane improving the tensile
strength in both longitudinal and lateral directions. This in turn,
reinforces the waterproofing coating comprising resins such as Bitumen,
modified Bitumen, Acrylics, Epoxy and Polyester. GLASCOTE can be used to
waterproof or repair roofs, parapet-walls, gutters, flashings and
underscreed applications. GLASCOTE is not affected by ultra violet, does
not rot or burn, is moisture, acid and alkali resistant.
BARRAMESH
Re-inforcing
mesh
BARRAMESH
is a reinforcing mesh made up of continuous glass filament yarns evenly
dispersed over the sheet width and length, bonded at the yarn
intersections with a suitable binder.
Application
BARRAMESH is used as a reinforcement to cement plaster screeds and other
coating compounds of a similar nature made up of resins and powder
fillers. It reinforces the screeds against the formation of haircracks,
thus preventing the ingression of moisture and other weathering forces
into the surface and substrate. As a result, BARRAMESH prevents the
lifting of the coating or screed from the substrate. A typical
application for BARRAMESH is the reinforcement of the surface screed of
tennis courts. |
