Addicom has supplied the Italian-manufactured Tecma pumps, which
provide design freedom for bathrooms, kitchens and other areas where
waste water needs to be removed using small-bore pipes. The Tecma Pumps
are light years ahead in the field of Mini - Macerator - Pumps.
All Tecma
products carry a four-year guarantee.
One pump covers the
whole range, that is from the WC pan to the dishwasher and washing
machine.
Urinals
(waterless and odourless)
Addicom markets the EcoSmellstop System, a system which allows the
upgrading of water flushed urinals waterless, without changing the
urinal bowl.
A well used urinal (200 uses per day) requires 602 litres of flushing
water or in money terms R 6.60 per day. An Ecosmellstop System Urinal
can terefore save up to around R 2300.00 per year on water
only, not to mention the maintenence side. The installation of a new
waterless & odourless urinal will pay for itself as soon as it is
specified as no water piping, flushing device and a
convetional trap is required, these items weigh in at around R
3700.00! (The cost of an EcoSmellstop fitting is more or less the same
as a conventional bottle trap but will save thousands of Rands during
its lifetime)
Waterless Urinals are now a world trend. Most waterless urinals
presently marketed are based on a derivative of an antiquated
technology, originally patented in 1894. Our idea was born early 2000
and registered in 2003.
Middle 2006 we had our system ready for the world markets and there are
around 36’000 EcoSmellstop urinals installed world wide. This sort of
numbers were achieved in 2 ½ years. A feat which none of the other
companies ever came near to!

The
completely "touch free" EcoSmellstop fitting has been designed
