Micon Coatings is a company involved in a very specialised industry, developing and manufacturing passive fire retardant coatings and chemicals for the past 17 years.

Micon Coatings pride themselves in being able to supply a quality 100% locally manufactured product where quality control forms an integral part of the product, from the factory to the point of application.

Specifiers and applicators can be assured that all products have been tested by either the CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) or similar international and local testing agencies.

Micon Coatings have an ongoing research and development programs in place to keep abreast and improve our products in the market.

Micon Coatings fire retardant products were initially developed for the mining industry but have since expanded into the construction, industrial and domestics markets.

Micon Flamsayf 325
Micon Flamsayf is fire retardant mastic with excellent insulating properties, for use on electrical cable, PVC pipes and 2 hour penetration seals.

Micon Intusayf
Micon Intusayf is an intumescent coating for use on structural steel, electrical cables, PVC pipes, and timber and penetration seals.
