Defy's range of appliances include stoves, built-in

Free-standing stoves
Defy has a range of free-standing stoves which are detailed below. The major difference
between the 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-series is size. Features also differ between the series. All
Defy stoves are easy to clean, are cable or 15 A plug connected depending on model.

Built-in-ovens
Thermofan® and conventional ovens
Defy pioneered the Thermofan® oven in South Africa. This oven is particularly suitable
for cooking large quantities, and will for instance enable you to bake three times the
quantity baked in a conventional oven.
When selecting an oven, consideration should be given to
which type of oven may be preferred, i.e. Thermofan® or conventional. The Thermofan
consists of an element at the back of the oven with a fan that circulates heated air
evenly throughout, so that large mixed courses may be cooked together with no transfer of
flavours, or for bulk cooking which saves electricity.
