Wonder Rock's sophisticated manufacturing, research and development facility is based at Midrand Industrial Park. Incorporating a computerised batching plant and an atmosphere-controlled curing chamber, the factory employs 120 artisans, reflecting the specialised hand-finished nature of many of the company's products.

To achieve the look and feel of stone crafted in a bygone era, the texture is captured using rubber moulds and the colouring by the artistic use of special concrete pigments. Wonder Rock offers the widest range of paving products and stone wall facings in South Africa.

Cobbles
Bastille Range is exclusive to Wonder Rock and consists of 200 mm X 200 mm cobbles with a French limestone finish perfect for driveways, patios, courtyards and pathways.

Cantebury Range is a traditional small cobble 110 mm X 110 mm that adds character to cottage gardens, driveways and pathways.

Roma Random Cobble is unique and a first for South Africa as it achieves the superb old world effect of cobble paving. The laying process, which strings the cobbles together enables fast, accurately spaced laying with an 80% saving in labour costs. No cutting of the cobbles is required and a level surface is assured. The cobbles come in a standard size mat 760 mm x 560 mm x 40 mm for ease of handling.

Piazza Paver adorns the fountain court of the Montecasino Hotel. The rectangular shape of the Piazza 255 mm x 50 mm x 55 mm or 2 250 mm x 50 mm x 75 mm, laid in a herring bone pattern creates a unique visual illusion of movement.

Flagstones
Florentine Flagstone, which was purposely made for Montecasino, has become one of Wonder Rock's most popular flagstones. The sizes are 750 mm x 750 mm x 40 mm, 750 mm x 500 mm x 40 mm, 500 mm x 500 mm x 40 mm, 500 mm x 250 mm x 40 mm. Pool coping 500 mm x 500 mm x 40 mm, 500 mm x 250 mm x 40 mm, 250 mm x 250 mm x 40mm. The Florentine Circle, which is 2.5m diameter. The texture of the Florentine Flagstone complements the Tuscany architectural trends of the day.

Cornwall Flagstone creates a stylish impression with a slate-textured formal type of paving available in three colours. Form random or uniform designs with the range of modular sizes from 300 mm x 300 mm up to 900 mm x 400 mm. Slip-proof, it is ideal for swimming pool and pond surrounds.

Westminster Flagstone captures the distinctive timeworn appearance of authentic flagstones. At 700 mm x 700 x 40 mm, it is one of the largest paving products in the Wonder Rock collection. It is suitable for both indoors and outdoors use.

French Limestone paving is experiencing a worldwide demand by designers. The SA Guild of Interior Design selected Wonder Rock's product for the patio and pool surround. Its excellent non-slip surface is ideal for patios, pathways and pool surrounds. The system includes coping and step risers.

Landscaping accessories include log sections, granite slabs and simulated railway sleepers, perfect for decorating the garden areas and otherwise unnoticed nooks and crannies.
