The S.A. Incinerator
Co (Pty) Ltd
The incineration of waste producs
The
S.A. Incinerator Co. manufactures incinerators and is a major supplier
throughout South Africa and it's neighbouring countries. We service
and maintain our incinerators and provide an information service to
Government departments, consulting engineers, mines and hospitals,
giving full details on the incinerator required and the price.
It is
without a doubt that incineration is the ultimate process for the
safe, hygienic, disposal of contaminated waste. By virtue of the very
nature of these wastes, they may not be recycled nor disposed of in
landfill sites. Dumping, or buying of this waste results in
contamination of underground water or rivers. The spread of Cholera,
Typhoid and Plague is checked by the incineration of the contaminated
waste. There is little doubt that the Cholera epidemic in Kwa Zulu-Natal was caused by not incinerating the clinical waste.
The
great fire of London ended the Black Death.
The
incinerators are the natural draught, multiple chamber, retort type,
built to the design standards of the Los Angeles Air Pollution Control
District, modified and improved. Our incinerators are proprietary
products and although some parts can be changed to suit a consulting
engineer's specifications, they basically remain our standard. We
tender to our own specifications for the various capacities.
Incineration is the process of the destruction of waste by converting
the organic waste to carbon dioxide and water vapour by fire. Ash is
the incombustible residue. Glass, metals and sand will be sterilised
but not incinerated.
