ABP Building Products  was established to focus on the developing uses of expanded polystyrene (EPS) in the construction industry and has since developed to offer a specialty consulting service related to green building practices and energy efficient building design as well.

TASS – Thermal Acoustic Slab System

TASS is a coffer floor slab system for multi-storey buildings and is made up of a combination of a moulded EPS block which acts as a permanent void former and cold rolled, galvanised steel channels which form the 'ribs'.

The TASS system has been extended to include the use of a prestressed concrete support rib in place of the steel support. With the increases in the steel price this has made the TASS system more cost competitive. The new system is known as TASS -PS

Polyblock- ICF (insulated concrete form) wall system

Polyblock is a hollow EPS building block which acts as a permanent formwork for a reinforced concrete infill and is used for building houses, perimeter and retaining walls, infill panels for steel frame construction, agricultural buildings and high rise developments.

TUFS - thermal under floor system
TUFS is a 40mm thick, EPS, under floor, thermal insulating system used as an integral part of ground floor slabs between conventional foundation walls.

TUFS also acts as a moisture proof barrier.

TUFS can also be used as an EPS thermal insulating cavity former in external brick walls.

VARIBLOCK retaining wall system.

Variblock is a knock down block used to construct retaining walls instead of using brick skins or steel formwork. It is less expensive and quicker to construct.

Polyjoint - concrete expansion joint system
Polyjoint is an EPS expansion joint system for concrete floor slabs. It replaces the use of softboard used in this application as it is cost competitive and does not expand and deteriorate when wet.

Coblit – exterior wall moulding system
Coblit is a pre plastered EPS exterior wall moulding, column capping and window sill system.
