BATBOX®
is a unique patented product that turns unusable space into storage space
without compromising parking space. With the current trend of high density residential
developments the BATBOX® offers the perfect solution to storage space problems. Like the name suggests, the unit is suspended from the
ceiling above the bonnet of any vehicle or 4x4. Hanging from 4 anchors in the ceiling and stabilized
with optional brackets the unit can carry a weight of a 1000kg. Made from electro plated polyester coated steel it
carries a ten year warrantee, it installs in two hours and provides the
parking bay owner with a huge secure lockable storage unit.

Technical
data
The concrete ceiling/floors in residential buildings
(houses, etc) have a standard rating of 1,5 kN/m2,
commercial and high-rise buildings (including parking garages) have a
rating of 2,0 kN/m2, whilst industrial capacity is higher than 4
kN/m2. The anchor-point spacing in the engineering designs takes
into account these safety factors, satisfying building specs in the UK, Europe and South Africa. The carrying
capacity of the slab is thus not an issue. Once again, the engineering
design reports and specs are available.
