Line Rocker Bearings
NOVA Line
Rocker Bearings are normally used on pre-cast beam bridges and are
therefore normally supplied without holding down bolts. However, for
in-situ structures or other special applications the following types
of bolts may be specified.
Our
range of structural products:
Combination pot
bearings for incrementally launched bridges, linear rocking bearings,
point tilt bearings, guide bearings, uplift bearings, pot bearings,
pin bearings, NOVA - tie anchors, NOVA - concrete test cube moulds,
NOVA - delta strip construction bearings.
NOVA
Tie Anchor
The NOVA Tie-Anchor is generally used together with conventional
bridge bearings or elastomeric pads to provide uplift restraint to
bridge decks. Every Tie-Anchor is custom designed for each specific
application. The designer takes into account the loading and movement
required as well as presets if needed. The Tie-Anchor is particularly
suitable as a holding down device for decks of bridges subject to
flooding and overtopping.
NOVA
Structural Bearings Type SB
The type SB bearing is available in two types, multidirectional and
unidirectional. They are designed for use on most types of structures,
for example, ducts, pipe bridges, gantries, etc. They are designed to
support vertical loads from 100kn to 3000kn under normal conditions.
