  • To ensure the Southern African aggregate and sand industry is viewed by communities, the public, government and environmental bodies as being environmentally friendly.

  • To ensure legal compliance of all aggregate and sand suppliers in the industry.

  • To act as the official mouthpiece of the industry for the members of the Association and to interact with role players in the industry.

ASPASA encourages the use and application of quality products.

ASPASA provides national representation through regional committees, with members in the major centres.

ASPASA encourages best management practices!

The Aggregate and Sand Producers Association of Southern Africa represents the reputable quarries producing stone and sand.

When thinking of buying aggregate (stone) and sand, then always bear in mind that Aspasa members have to undergo Health and Safety Audits as well as Environmental Audits.  These audits are compulsory to ensure that people, i.e. workers and the communities are not injured or hurt while at work or while staying near a quarry.
