Purus stainless
steel sanitaryware
AfScan provide a range of stainless
steel toilets and urinals, all manufactured in acid-resistant
stainless steel AISI 316. The Purus range of sanitaryware is imported
from Sweden and is of the highest standard.
The toilet range includes:

Toilet V130 - a floor standing toilet with cistern, supplied as
standard with a floor-gully connection, a grey plastic seat and
lid. Suitable for modern homes and public environments.
Alternatively, the toilet can be supplied with a wall
connection, extended by 60 mm and with a cherry-wood seat.
Approved in accordance with DIN and VA. |

Toilet V131 is suitable for public environments and is supplied
for wall-mounting according to European standards. The wall
mount is included. The toilet is combined with a wall fixture
and integral cistern. |

for public environments. Supplied for wall-mounting according to
European standards. Wall mount included. Combined with wall
fixture and integral cistern. Can be supplied with seat ribs or

Trough
Urinal V301/V301 Niagara, also manufactured from AISI 316
acid-resistant stainless steel. Supplied complete with
suspension fittings and flushing pipes made of stainless steel,
with G15 water connection. For each place, a length of 600 mm is
recommended. |

Wall
Urinal V345 is supplied with flusher nozzle, water connection
G15 and plastic water trap for wall or floor connections. |

Urinal V330 is supplied with built-in plastic water trap. Water
connection G25. |

Two standard wash troughs are
available in the Purus range – the V240 and the V246. Also
manufactured from stainless steel, they are supplied with the required
number of stainless steel brackets. Soap shelf for installing tap and
splash guard are provided. As standard, the trough is produced with
ext. outlet connection G40 and without hole for tap. For each washing
point, a length of 600 mm is recommended.
In addition, a Foot Wash Trough V37 is
also available, supplied with a fixed splash guard, soap dishes,
removable grating and stainless steel brackets. As standard, the
trough is produced with ext. outlet connection G40. For each washing
point, a length of 600 mm is recommended.
The Washbasin V215 has a removable
lower section for installation of outlet and optional tap.
The Bucket Sink V20 is supplied with
bulge, lift-up grid, stainless steel brackets and plastic water trap.
Water can be connected from both the right and left.
The Bucket Sink V15/V151 is supplied
with bulge, lift-up grid and stainless steel S-shaped water trap with
clean-out plug. The bucket sink can be specially fitted with a
P-shaped water trap and/or flusher nozzle. Suitable for public
environments and emptying latrines at camping sites.
The Plaster Separator V55 consists of a
fixed connection head for attaching to sink and wall with 2 stainless
steel brackets. Removable container which can easily be detached for
emptying and cleaning. The clasp that locks the container also serves
as a handle. Volume 13 litres.
The stainless steel Drinking Fountain
V210 is produced for indoor use and is reinforced on the inside with
galvanised steel pipes. It is supplied complete with fittings.
The Sediment Trap V220 is intended for
wash troughs. Supplied with removable collection vessel mounted with
snap lock. Silicon gasket.
PURUS floor Gullies And Fulbor
All PURUS floor gullies, trapped or non trapped, are supplied with a
protective cover, grating and auto-adjust clamping ring. Membrane
flanges are available for all PURUS floor gullies and extension rings.

type-approved by SITAC and world patented.
Cast-iron Gullies And Fulbor
All PURUS floor gullies, trapped or non-trapped, made of cast-iron,
are coated on the inside and outside with epoxy plastic. Epoxy offers
excellent adhesion to other materials and good resistance to solvents
and bases. These properties make epoxy one of the best corrosion
protections for cast-iron floor gullies.
miniMAX Shower Outlet
Shower outlet called miniMAX is only 70mm in height. The shower outlet has a spring
loaded trap that will fit all slabs. It is a removable water trap with
odour stop and back flow prevention.
Plastic Gullies And Fulbor
Polypropylene plastic (PP). The plastic’s excellent impact,
chemical and temperature resistance means that the floor gullies have
a very long lifetime. When polypropylene burns, only carbon dioxide
and water are formed. Most Purus floor gullies are made of
polypropylene.
Polyethylene (PEH). This plastic
is not used as often for floor gullies due to its high mould-shrinkage
and linear heat expansion coefficient. The material is also difficult
to glue.
ABS plastic. This plastic
contains rubber particles that produce high impact resistance, surface
hardness and first-rate surface finish. The material has extremely
good low temperature properties. A number of plastic floor gullies are
available.
PURUS Corner:
An exciting variant in the family is Purus Corner, a triangular floor
drain that further enhances the opportunity for exciting solutions.
PURUS
Line:
One of the smartest drain / floor
channels on the market with bottom or side outlet 50mm or 75mm outlet.
It is available in 6 lengths and 8 patterns ensuring thousands of
different possibilities. The Purus line has a removable spring
loaded trap to stop odour and back flow prevention.
PURUS NOOD water trap
The NOOD water trap effectively stops back flows, gas leaks, foul air
and harmful insects and vermin. Functions independently of water
in the water trap.
PURUS Tile frames and gratings, PK -
rings or Design Tile frames are made of highest quality stainless
steel.
PURUS PK-ring rings can be used for all types of sealing layer and
brick floors.And is suitable for the most available fulbor
on the market. For connection of sealing layer, PURUS Plate
flange, PURUS Brick Kit or PURUS Membrane Flange are recommended. Load
on grating to load classicfication EN 1253:K3 = 3 kN, apart from the
two with reinforced gratings (PK 200 and PK 300), load classification
EN 1253:L15 = 15 kN. All PURUS PK rings are available with a hole in
the grating: grating dim. 150 with Ø40 mm hole, grating dim. Ø220
with Ø50mm hole. The height of the PK ring above the gully's flange
depends on weather a plate flange or membrane flange is used.
PURUS stainless steel products
All PURUS stainless steel floor gullies and accessories are
manufactured from acid-resistant stainless steel. The exception is the
industrial floor gully.
The Purus Channel is a hygienic channel
made of AISI 316 acid-resistant stainless steel, with electro-polished
grid of stainless steel. As an alternative, the channel can be
delivered with an anti-slip plastic lattice. As water trap, an
optional Purus floor gully of stainless steel, with vertical or
horizontal outlet, outlet-dim. 50, 75 or 110 mm is available. The
gully is mounted at the bottom of the tub. The gully can be equipped
with odour-stop and back flow valve. Removable grating/sediment basket
is included. The gully can be turned through 360° and can be adjusted
before installation. The Purus Standard Channel is available for all
types of floors: concrete/plasterfloor, vinyl floor or brick floor.
A wide variety of other products are
available. These include a WC adapter, various outlets and
accessories, stainless steel channels, industrial floor gullies,
bootwash and vacuum gullies.
PURUS system
The PURUS system means that whatever type of floor gully you
choose, a number of different insets will fit in all gullies marked
with S. PURUS RAN is received as standard. This
is a traditional, removable water trap inset. It is made of plastic,
with handle, and is seperable for easier handling and cleaning. RAN is
also available in stainless steel.
Also available is PURUS cover used to
'plug' the gully against possible drying out and back flows. PURUS
Foam Stop for tight connections such as between washing machine and
floor gully; and PURUS NOOD "Universal water trap" - which
combines the properties of all the other insets, such as automatic
back flow stop and odour-stop in the event of drying out.
PURUS rubber
nipple / combi nipple
These nipples enable one to stop using glue and silicone, but to use
the nipples as an elastic seal at the transition from one dimension to
another. The only rubber/combi-nipple range on the market that is
approved for horizontal and vertical installation. They are also
