Concealed fix sheeting profiles

Klip-Lok
Klip-Lok 700 and 406 Agrément Certificate Nr: 96/248
A sheet with an interlocking profile and clip fixing system that eliminates the need for holes in the sheets. The clips allow expansion and contraction of the sheets without straining the securing points. The design provides the sheets with an excellent water-carrying capacity, as well as structural strength, ease of erection, dust and watertightness, and the versatility to be cranked.

Composition and manufacture
Unlike conventional roofing, Klip-Lok is manufactured from a superior grade, high yield steel to ISQ 550 (3t) for improved sidelap and spanning characteristics. It is available in galvanised, 55% Aluminium alloy coating or prepainted Globalcoat™ over both above mentioned coatings. Aluminium in Klip-Lok 406, cold rolled at the factory or on site.

Length and width
Maximum transportable sheet length: 20 m for 406 and 700. Longer lengths can be rolled on site. Cover width is 406 or 700 mm. The ribs are 41 mm in height and spaced at 203 mm centres for 406 or 233 for 700. Each pan has two shallow ribs for stiffening.

Load span table
The recommended purlin support centres are based on the following design criteria and obtained through testing:

Brownbuilt
Roofing and cladding sheets with an interlocking profile and clip-fixing system designed to eliminate fixing holes, and to allow free expansion and contraction under temperature variations. Available in galvanised steel, or prepainted Globalcoat™, aluminium, stainless steel, copper and glass fibre reinforced polyester resin. Sheets are suitable for use in most climatic conditions.

Sitework
Sheets can be used for roofs with a minimum pitch of 1:60 depending on the material; and vertically for cladding, fixed by means of concealed clips fastened to the top of the purlins. After laying, interlocking sheets are given lateral stability by button punching at 150 mm either side of the clips and midspan not exceeding 900 mm centres.

Brownbuilt sheeting as ceiling
Brownbuilt roofing is also used as an economical combination for canopies, shop verandahs, link corridors and suspended roofs.
