Building and buying tips

Who to buy from
It is advisable to approach an established pool company, which has been in business a long time.

Possible additional costs
It is important to make an allowance for soil costs and the cost of installing a safety net or fence.

Choice of pool
When choosing the shape of a pool make sure that it blends in with the surroundings.  The size and shape of the pool depends on whether it is intended for relaxation or for exercise.

Location of your pool
Considerations such as sun and shadow positions during the day, leaves and any nearby tree roots, soil make-up and landscaping, must be taken into account. Ensure that other obstacles such as electrical cables, water pipes, sewers, building servitudes and building restriction lines are established before building a pool.

Pool safety
Every pool should have a safety net or fence that conforms with standard council requirements.
