HOME Product Highlights November 2009 The Star Interbuild Africa 2010...

The Star Interbuild Africa 2010:
A one-stop expo for building services, construction, plumbing, glass, aluminium, woodwork, hardware and associated products and service

The Star Interbuild Africa, together with co-locating shows Plumbdrain Africa, Sani’ter, Frigair Conference and Expo, Glass Expo Africa, Hardex and Woodpro Africa, is the largest and most comprehensive trade exhibition on the continent, showcasing the full spectrum of building-related industries from residential, to commercial and industrial.

Organised by Specialised Exhibitions, the 2010 show will take place from 8 to 11 September next year at the MTN Expo Centre, Nasrec in Gauteng and provide four days of product launches, interactive demonstrations and profitable business networking opportunities.

The exhibition was first launched in 1968. It was renamed The Star Interbuild Africa in 2002 and has maintained a growth of 25 percent over the past seven years. Last year there were 230 local and international exhibitors in attendance, and 7,800 visitors from all over the African continent, as well as Europe, Asia and Australia, including top decision-makers in building-related industries, products and services.

There has been significant growth in the number of international exhibitors, as South Africa offers companies an opportunity to tap into the emerging market or open new offices. According to Specialised Exhibitions, companies from Turkey, France, Brazil, Portugal, Malaysia, China, Italy, Germany, UK and Egypt are following this trend.

Once again, the MTN Expo Centre, Nasrec in Gauteng will host The Star Interbuild Africa show. It is situated close to highways and airports, and there is secure parking for a maximum of 20,000 cars.

Industry support for The Star Interbuild Africa 2010 will include Master Builders South Africa, South African Institute for Architects, Association of South African Quantity Surveyors and Construction Industries Confederation, to name a few.

More about Specialised Exhibitions:
Specialised Exhibitions offers South Africa’s largest portfolio of exhibitions, servicing business to business sectors of the southern African economy, and backed by over 40 years of experience. Specialised Exhibitions is a member of the prestigious Montgomery Group and is recognised locally and internationally as an organiser of innovative, inspiring and highly effective exhibitions that meet the needs of the industries it serves.
The acquisition of Exhibitions for Africa (EFA) in late 2007 by Specialised Exhibitions Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Andry Montgomery Ltd, has created a major force in the B2B trade exhibition market in Southern Africa. Both companies had built extremely strong company brands with equally strong partner brand identification within their exhibition portfolios.
