Submit editorials and product news for publication
IHS South Africa is strongly involved in architectural, engineering and construction issues in southern Africa. To this end we publish a number of publications in various media formats to these industries.
Our Specifier magazine is published monthly and issued to some 5000 professional offices. These include architects, consulting engineers, quantity surveyors, property developers, interior designers, and building designers.
The Specifile on-line website has over 18 000 registered users and is ranked very highly in the Google search listings. Search for ‘South African building products’ as an example of our popularity.
Manufacturers and suppliers of building products are welcome to submit editorials highlighting their products or, alternatively, applications where their products have been successfully used.
Professionals in the industry may submit projects that they are particularly proud of and would like the industry and fellow professionals to know about.
Conference and show organisers can use our publications to inform the building industry of forthcoming and relevant shows. Alternatively, they can use our service to highlight or promote papers presented at the conference.
Competition prizes – we will consider exchanging advertising for competition prizes that are relevant to our target market. Please contact us for more information.
Jobs can also be advertised on Specifile on-line. However, they must be relevant to the construction, engineering, design and construction industries.
All editorials and photographs submitted will be considered for publication. However, as this is a free service, we cannot guarantee placement. Please note as well that all editorials are subject to the editor’s discretion and that editorial corrections will apply, if necessary.
